ReFit Warriors

We believe God has designed us to be whole. That's includes being healthy spiritually, mentally and physically. Here at Anthem we have a weekly women's fitness class that is absolutely free, with the goal of creating community through the shared experience of fitness.

Donations are accepted to help offset the costs of utilities and babysitters (childcare is available). Hope to see you there!

Revival WKND

We are so excited to announce our second annual REVIVAL WKND. Come and experience the presence of God in a powerful and life-changing way. Special Speaker, Shaneen Clark will be joining us all the way from London, UK and worship will be led by our very own Anthem Worship band.

This is a free event, but please register in advance!

A little about Shaneen:

People all over the world have a simple but profound goal: to live a life of purpose. But finding that purpose - understanding how to ignite one’s imagination,
to encourage oneself to dream big, to explore new ways to make a difference,
can be a real challenge.

It’s so easy to get sidetracked and lose focus, wasting valuable time, energy and resources. But the struggle to create meaning in what might feel like a meaningless existence can also make it easy to lose the joy of everyday life.

Shaneen Clarke understands the battle to find purpose and she is dedicated to helping others reach their true potential. From her books, such as ‘Dare to Be Great,’ to her many speaking engagements, she has spent years helping others go deep within to find and release their core passion.

But here’s what is so powerful about Shaneen - she does it all with a profound sense of fun! This girl will make you laugh.

She will remind you that a purposeful life does not need to be, and should not be defined by striving, but by the freedom that comes with knowing who you are and what you were made to do.

Shaneen is a woman on a mission to release women and men from the fear of failure. Her life’s passion is to remind us that our purpose can be great, whatever it is, as long as we embrace it as a gift and use it with love.

We are thrilled that the new semester for Anthem Groups will be getting started the week of October 1st! That means it is time to review, recruit and "regroup" leaders for this coming semester. We all know that great decisions are made on Sundays but great life change happens in groups. That's why our goal is to have as many as 80-100% of our Anthem family connected in some kind of group. We will have Group Signups starting on September 24th for all Fall Groups, so don't miss that Sunday!

If you feel like you could be a great Group leader, please let us know...

Saturday in the City

WHAT IS "SATURDAY IN THE CITY"?

As a part of The Love Initiative, we have committed to serve our partner organizations the 1st Saturday of every month, Feb. – Dec. in 2017 from 9am-12pm. (Fairview Serve Project and Reynolds will be quarterly/as the needs arise)

WHAT IS "THE LOVE INITIATIVE"?

The Love Initiative was birthed through a desire to make a difference in our community. Fulfilling the commandment of Jesus Christ to “love your neighbor as yourself” is at the heart of this movement. Our goal is to promote unified community concern, and to form relationships that can have a lasting impact even after this year is over. Our desire is to saturate our community with love communicated through acts of service and compassion. We believe that serving the needs of the disenfranchised of our community only happens when hearts are moved with compassion, and that action will always triumph intention.

Check out our Facebook page to see which partner organizations we will be working with this month, and to let us know which project you will be joining us for.
