This December we have the amazing opportunity to host a local organization’s toy drive! Every year, Snowcap Communities Charity organizes a city-wide toy drive in which local police forces, fire departments, and other business collect thousands of toys for families in need. On Distribution Day, the parents of these families are allowed to “shop” for their kids among the rows of toys, and wrap them to put under their tree at home.
Last year, Snowcap was able to provide toys for 1,400 children! We have the privilege of hosting the toy drive here at Anthem this year, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! On December 4th-15th, you will see bags of toys and bikes piling up along the walls of our auditorium in preparation; the week before Christmas it will be brought out into lobby and then it’s time to shop!
There are a couple ways that Anthem Church can be a part of this event so please look through and pick a way to bless our community:
We will have a bin, and details about what kind of toys they are looking for, available in our lobby starting Dec 3rd.
On December 17th, from 1:30pm-4:30pm, we have the opportunity to help organize and lay out all the toys that have been donated onto tables in the lobby for Distribution Day. If you are interested in being a volunteer during their Distribution Days, please contact Hannah Partridge (email@example.com)
